Hej! So glad you want to go Swedish with me. This app is filled with useful Swedish words and phrases to help you get comfortable listening, understanding and speaking Swedish.

Its really not so hard! Ill teach you the basics, along with lots of useful words and phrases. I can also help you with some of the tricky pronunciations, tell you a bit about Swedish culture, and even give you a few grammar tips.

All of the content is contained in the app, so once its downloaded you dont need to be online. You can GoSwedish when youre riding the subway or even while flying to Sweden.

Each lesson is a deck of cards containing words or phrases in English and Swedish. To learn new words, view the English first and then tap to see and hear the Swedish translation. Or if you want to practice listening, you can see and hear the Swedish first, and then tap to reveal the English equivalent.

In the latest version there is now a quiz mode that helps you to focus on learning the trickier words and phrases.

Hallå! Im French and quite passionate about Sweden. I plan to move there when Im fluent and will attend courses at the swedish institute come september. This app is bloody perfect to get better acquainted with this very beautiful language with its very clear pronunciation and most essential introduction to grammar. Tack!

Some bad moments

Just loaded app. Welcome screen greets you and asks if it is loud enough but doesnt offer help if it is not loud enough. I have no sound at all despite volume being up all the way. No way of fixing or getting help. Waste if money if no sound.
